Welcome to Lone Star Elementary, the BEST school in Texas! I love greeting our students each morning and seeing their big, sweet smiles as they enter our school. Everybody loves to come to Lone Star!
I am easy to find:
At Lone Star you will see me in the front foyer, visiting classrooms, meeting with teachers & students, or outside at dismissal. You can also get in touch with me quickly via email or by calling our front desk.
Away from Lone Star, you will probably find me at a sporting event or in a restaurant. I tell the boys & girls that if they see me they should always come over to say hello, so please don't worry that they are disturbing me. It is my honor to work with your children.
2021-22 will be my thirty-first year to work in education. I have taught students at the elementary school & junior high school level, served as an assistant principal & principal, and worked in three school districts. I have taught college courses, mentored students, teachers, & principals, and worked with many different organizations along the way. In 2012 I was honored to receive the HEB Excellence in Education Elementary Principal award for the state of Texas. I joined the Lone Star Staff in 2013. I think that I saved the BEST for last!
My goal for our students is that when they leave us they will be standing firmly on a solid academic foundation, but reaching confidently toward their personal goals and dreams. If I can ever help you, please do not hesitate to reach out to me.
